Derek Elliott and Kevin Street, both formerly of Permira, and Jonathan Kaye of CVC Capital Partners, founded Darwin in March 2007. The Founders have worked on over £10 billion of transactions including The A&A Group, Attenda, The AA, All3Media, Bromford Industries, Collins Stewart, Esendex, Euroffice, Homebase, IG Group, Inmarsat, Intelsat, Kwik-Fit, Maxinutrition, Plum, Travelodge and Whittan.
