ATTENDA RECOGNISED IN LEADERS QUADRANT FOR EUROPEAN MANAGED HOSTING BY GARTNER

Attenda Limited, the Business Critical IT company, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner Inc. in the Leaders quadrant of the 2013 Gartner European Managed Hosting Magic Quadrant1.

In this first European Managed Hosting Magic Quadrant, Gartner highlights that whilst the European market is mature, emerging cloud offerings are disruptive, meaning that IT buyers must choose vendors carefully.

Commenting on the announcement, Mark Fowle, CEO of Attenda says, “We are absolutely delighted with our positioning in the Leaders quadrant by Gartner, in this first European Managed Hosting Magic Quadrant. We believe it is affirmation that our Business Critical IT approach and strength in Client engagement resonates with our target audience.”

Fowle adds, “We see this Gartner recognition as validation of our vision and strategy as we enter the next phase of our development. Our organic approach to growth has allowed us to carefully create a sustainably distinct and differentiated position.”

“As a leading provider of managed service solutions for business critical applications, we continue to evolve our services portfolio based upon four core proposition areas: Critical Applications, Cloud Services, Hosting and Infrastructure Services and End User Computing. Our Business Critical IT approach ensures that Clients’ business critical applications keep transacting; through a continuous focus on performance, availability, recoverability, insight and security.”

Nick Jordan, Partner of Darwin Private Equity, commented:  “Attenda is the only member of the Magic Quadrant with a specific focus on Application Hosting and we are pleased that it has been acknowledged as a European leader amongst its global peer group. We saw great potential for Attenda when we invested in 2011 and we are excited about the new products and services the company will be bringing to its customers over the coming months to build on this recognition”
