Darwin Announces the Sale of Attenda


Ensono, a leading provider of progressive IT solutions that helps organizations operate their IT infrastructure for today and optimize for tomorrow, announced today it has acquired Attenda, a leading UK-based pure-play provider of critical applications and hybrid IT managed services. The addition of Attenda to the Ensono family extends the company’s reach to support its clients’ global operations, and strengthens its offerings across public cloud, dedicated infrastructure and mainframe to meet the demands of its growing gobal client base. Ensono is owned by Charlesbank Capital Partners and M/C Partners, which acquired the company in 2015.

Founded in 1997, Attenda grew to become one of the UK’s leading managed services and cloud service providers, specializing in running business-critical applications. The company combines business outcome focus, a structured client engagement methodology, and a comprehensive critical application and hybrid IT managed services portfolio. Attenda’s clients operate in a wide range of markets including financial services, media, business services and retail.
